How Does Yacht Rental Pricing Work in Dubai?
Per boat, per hour, with a minimum number of hours that differs from boat to boat. On our 16 yachts the minimum is 4, 8 or 10 hours. That is the length of the operator's day-rate window, not a number we picked, and it matters as much as the hourly rate when you work out what a trip costs.
That is different from a shared-boat ticket, which is priced per person for a fixed package. A private rental charges for the boat itself, so the total does not change per guest you bring within its capacity. What Actually Changes the Hourly Rate?
Size moves it, but less neatly than you would expect. Our fleet runs from 47 to 141 feet, and the rate follows length only roughly: the Cruiser 47 Fly is AED 1,130 an hour and the Behike, the largest boat at 141 feet, is AED 14,480. In between, the order breaks down.
Two boats of the same length can sit far apart. The Riva 82 Diva, built in 2024, is AED 8,850 an hour. The Motor Yacht X12 is also 82 feet, built in 2008 and refitted in 2021, and it is AED 2,410. The Motor Yacht X35 is 110 feet and costs AED 3,860 an hour, less than the Galeon 780 Bella at 80 feet and AED 4,050. Build year, the model and what comes aboard all sit inside the rate: the Galeon is one of five boats with a jet ski and a Seabob included in the charter.
Guest count matters less on this fleet than on most. Every boat takes 12 guests except the Sunseeker 64, which takes up to 25. For a bigger group than that we look for a partner boat on request, and the price conversation starts from scratch.
Season is the part we cannot put a fixed rule on. Rates come from each operator's booking system and are confirmed for the date, so we do not promise a quiet-month discount. What we have measured is demand: our own measurement of Dubai charter search, cross-checked against DataForSEO on 2026-09-01, peaks in September and is lowest in June, a swing of only about 2.7 times. What Does the Minimum Booking Mean for Cost?
It means the hourly rate is not the price of the trip. Multiply it by the boat's minimum and you get the smallest booking that boat accepts. The Galeon 780 Bella at AED 4,050 an hour with a 4-hour minimum comes to AED 16,200. The Motor Yacht X35 is lower per hour at AED 3,860, but its minimum is 10 hours, so its smallest booking is AED 38,600.
The lowest entry point in the fleet is the Cruiser 47 Fly: AED 1,130 an hour over an 8-hour minimum, or AED 9,040 for the whole booking. Three boats have the shortest minimum, 4 hours: the Riva 82 Diva, the Ferretti 670 Aquilla and the Galeon 780 Bella. If you only want an evening on the water, those three are where we start.
How hours beyond the minimum are billed depends on the operator, so we confirm it in the quote rather than assume it.
What's Included in the Base Rate?
Captain, crew, soft drinks, water and ice, on every boat. On five of them, the Pershing 5X Zephyr, Ferretti 670 Aquilla, Ferretti 780 Solace, Galeon 780 Bella and Riva 82 Diva, the charter also includes water toys: a jet ski, a Seabob, a paddleboard, snorkelling gear and a tender. Anything not on that list, fuel among it, we confirm in the quote rather than promise in advance.

What's Not Included, and Why Does It Cost Extra?
Food, alcohol and decoration, plus water toys on the eleven boats that do not carry them. These vary too much by group to bundle into one number: a birthday cake and balloons cost nothing like a full catered dinner.
Ask for these when you request a quote, and they get priced alongside the boat rather than guessed at in advance.
Why Do Two Sites Quote Different Numbers for the Same Search?
Because they're answering different questions. One boat size, one duration, one set of inclusions each, usually without saying so, which makes the headline numbers impossible to compare directly.
The fix is not a lower number, it is more of the picture. Whenever you compare quotes, check the length and guest count of the boat, the number of hours the price covers, and what is bundled in. An hourly rate on a boat with a 10-hour minimum and a full-day price on another boat are not the same kind of number.
How Do You Get an Accurate Quote?
Send your date, group size and preferred hours. That is usually enough to match a boat whose minimum fits your plan and quote it for the date.
