We don't operate a catamaran ourselves. Our own fleet is 16 motor yachts, from 47 to 141 feet, and none of them has two hulls. For a catamaran cruise in Dubai we source the boat from partners and match it to your group and date, the same way we handle jet skis and fishing trips. Do you have your own catamaran?
No. Every boat we run is a single-hull motor yacht, and we'd rather say that upfront than show you a monohull under a catamaran heading. When someone asks for a catamaran, we go to partners in Dubai who run them and match a boat to the headcount and date.
It's the same process we use for a speed boat outing or a dedicated fishing trip: we don't stretch our own fleet to cover a different kind of boat, we source the right one instead.
Why do people ask for a catamaran?
Deck space, mostly. Two hulls give a catamaran a wide, flat deck that a single-hull yacht of the same length can't match, so a group that wants to stand, move around and mingle has more room to do it.
The other difference is motion. A catamaran sits more stable at anchor, with less roll than a single-hull boat, since the two hulls resist tipping the way one hull doesn't. That matters for guests who don't spend much time on boats or get seasick easily on a rolling monohull.
What do you need from us to find one?
Your date, the number of guests and roughly how long you want on the water. Capacity, minimum booking, departure point and what's included all depend on the partner's boat, so we confirm those for the specific catamaran we find rather than promise one rule upfront.
If nothing suitable is free on your date, we tell you straight away rather than keep you waiting, and suggest one of our own yachts that could work for the same group instead.
When is one of our own yachts the better fit?
For a group of up to 12, any of our 16 yachts takes everyone, and for up to 25 the Sunseeker 64 at Dubai Marina does. Our own boats have an hourly rate on each yacht's card and a known minimum of 4, 8 or 10 hours, which makes the day easier to plan than a sourced boat whose terms we confirm per booking. If the catamaran was mainly about a standing crowd, a yacht party on the Sunseeker 64 is worth comparing.
A couple or a small family looking for something quieter usually gets more out of one of our smaller yachts on a standard private charter than out of a boat built for a crowd.
What's included, and what isn't?
On a partner catamaran, the operator sets what's included and we confirm it with the quote. On our own yachts the base rate covers the captain, crew, soft drinks, water and ice; food, alcohol and decoration are arranged separately.
Five of our yachts also include water toys: a jet ski and a Seabob, plus a paddleboard, snorkelling gear and a tender. On the rest, water sports aren't part of the booking, so ask if they matter for your group.
