What time do we board for a sunset cruise?

It depends on your date, not on a fixed schedule. Sunset in Dubai shifts across the year, so a boarding time that works in one month would put you on the water too early or too late in another. We confirm the exact time once we know the date you're booking, rather than publish one time that only holds for part of the year.

How long does a sunset charter run?

Four hours is the shortest option, and only three yachts offer it: the Ferretti 670 Aquilla, the Galeon 780 Bella and the Riva 82 Diva. That's enough to board in the afternoon, be out for golden hour and come back after dark without rushing. At the published rates, 4 hours on them comes to AED 12,400, AED 16,200 and AED 35,400 respectively.

The other 13 yachts have an 8- or 10-hour minimum, the operator's day-rate window. On those, sunset isn't the whole trip, it's how the day ends: you board earlier, spend the afternoon on the water and are still out at golden hour before heading back. It depends on group size and how long you want to be out, more than on the occasion itself, since every yacht in the fleet can run a sunset booking. Most boats take up to 12 guests. For a couple or a small group who want a short evening, the three 4-hour yachts are the natural fit.

How far ahead should we message you for a sunset date?

Earlier than you might for a weekday afternoon, mainly because a sunset booking competes for the same handful of hours every evening rather than spreading across the whole day. If a specific date matters, especially a weekend, message us as soon as you know it rather than the day before.

If your dates are flexible, say so when you message us. We can often work around what's available that week instead of holding out for one exact evening, and it usually gets you an answer faster than waiting on a single fixed date.

Can we combine a sunset cruise with a celebration, like a birthday?

Yes, a sunset cruise is still a standard private charter underneath, so it works the same way as any other occasion on this fleet: whole boat, your guest list, captain and crew included. Timing it around golden hour doesn't change what's booked, it just changes when you board.

If cake, decoration or a specific celebration — a birthday charter, for instance — is part of the plan, mention it when you message us the same way you would on any other charter. None of that is included by default, so we'll flag anything the specific boat can't accommodate before you book.
