Is 'boat rental' really the same as 'yacht rental' here?

Yes. On this site the two words point at the exact same product: a private charter with a captain, the whole boat booked for one group. We use both words in our own text because search behaviour splits between them even though the booking doesn't change. If one page says 'yacht' and another says 'boat,' the fleet, the crew and the booking terms behind it are identical.

That's not the case on every charter site worldwide. In some markets, 'boat rental' specifically means a bareboat hire: you take the wheel yourself, usually after showing a licence, with no crew aboard. Dubai's charter market doesn't really run that model in practice, and we don't offer it. Every booking here comes with a captain and crew as standard, regardless of which word brought you to this page.

On this site, though, the short answer covers it: same fleet, same crew, same private charter either way.

Do you have small, affordable boats, or only big yachts?

Both, and you don't have to take our word for it: every boat's hourly rate is on its card. The fleet runs from 47 to 141 feet, at AED 1,130 to AED 14,480 an hour depending on the boat. Most boats take up to 12 guests; the Sunseeker 64 takes up to 25.

At the compact end, the Cruiser 47 Fly is 47 feet and has the lowest hourly rate in the fleet, AED 1,130, with an 8-hour minimum, so a full booking comes to AED 9,040. The Azimut 50 X33 is next at AED 1,210 an hour. At the other end, Behike, Stardom and the Sunseeker 40M Encore are the three largest yachts, the biggest of them 141 feet, each with a 10-hour minimum.

The hourly rate isn't the whole price, because the minimum booking differs too. A boat that's cheaper by the hour but has a 10-hour minimum can cost more in total than a pricier one booked for 4: the Azimut 50 X33 comes to AED 12,100 for its 10 hours, the Ferretti 670 Aquilla to AED 12,400 for its 4. Do you offer boats without a captain, or self-drive options?

No. A captain and crew come standard on every booking, no exceptions by boat size. That's not an add-on line item, it's part of what the base rate covers on every one of the 16 yachts in the fleet.

If a self-drive rental without crew is specifically what you're after, that's a different product from what we run, and we'd rather say so upfront than sell a booking that doesn't match what you wanted. Message us anyway if you're not sure which one fits, and we'll point you the right direction.

Where do the boats depart from?

Mostly Dubai Harbour. Fourteen of our 16 yachts dock there; the other two, the Sunseeker 64 and the Cruiser 47 Fly, leave from Dubai Marina Yacht Club. Which marina a specific booking leaves from depends on which boat we've matched to your group, not on which word you searched to find this page.

Dubai Harbour sits on the same stretch of coast as Palm Jumeirah, with Bluewaters, Ain Dubai and Atlantis visible from the water and Burj Al Arab further along the shoreline. We haven't measured routes or sailing times between those landmarks, so we won't invent a schedule here. Once you're aboard, the captain builds the route around what your group wants to see, inside the hours you've booked.
