What size yacht fits our birthday group?

For up to 12 guests, almost any boat in the fleet fits, from the 47-foot Cruiser 47 Fly to the 141-foot Behike. At that headcount, length decides how much room everyone gets and what kind of day it feels like, not whether the whole guest list comes. The Cruiser 47 Fly or the Azimut 50 X33 keeps a family birthday simple, while the Sunseeker 40M Encore, Stardom or Behike turn the same small group into a far bigger occasion.

For a group of more than 12, the Sunseeker 64 is the one boat of ours that takes it: up to 25 guests on 64 feet, departing from Dubai Marina. Above 25 we don't have a yacht of our own, so we source one from partners on request, the same way we handle a catamaran charter, and tell you what's available before you plan around it.

Water toys narrow the choice further. Five yachts include a jet ski and a Seabob, plus a paddleboard, snorkelling gear and a tender: the Pershing 5X Zephyr, Ferretti 670 Aquilla, Ferretti 780 Solace, Galeon 780 Bella and Riva 82 Diva. If swimming and riding are part of the birthday, start there.

Can we bring our own cake, decoration and music?

Cake and decoration aren't part of the included list, so plan to bring them yourselves and set them up in the time you've booked, or ask us in advance whether the crew can help, since that depends on the boat. Music is the easy part: every yacht has a sound system, so bring your playlist.

Alcohol works the same way as decoration: arranged separately and brought aboard rather than supplied. If the celebration is closer to a full yacht party than a quiet birthday, tell us what you're planning so we can flag anything the specific yacht can't accommodate before you book.

How long should we book, and does a bigger group need more notice?

The minimum depends on the boat, not the occasion: 4 hours on the Riva 82 Diva, Ferretti 670 Aquilla and Galeon 780 Bella, 8 hours on boats like the Sunseeker 64, and 10 hours on most of the rest. That's more time than a birthday needs just to get going, which works in your favour: room to arrive, eat, swim and still have the boat for a few hours afterwards. Each yacht's card shows the minimum next to its hourly rate, and we confirm the exact quote for your date.

More notice helps if you're over 12. Only the Sunseeker 64 takes a group that size, so it has less spare inventory for a given date than the 15 yachts carrying 12, and a party bigger than 25 needs time for us to find a partner boat. Smaller groups have more boats to choose from and more flexibility on timing.

Does it work for a kid's birthday, not just an adult celebration?

Yes, the booking itself doesn't change: whole boat, your guest list, no strangers aboard, whether the birthday is for a six-year-old or a sixtieth. What usually shifts for a kid's party is boat choice: a smaller, simpler yacht often suits younger guests better than the largest one. Duration is less flexible than people expect, since every boat has its own minimum, so for a shorter party the three four-hour boats are the natural place to start.

Tell us the age range along with the headcount when you message us. It changes which boat we'd suggest and how long we'd recommend booking for, though the yacht's own minimum still applies regardless of who the celebration is for.
