What Does a Shared Yacht Party Ticket Buy?
A shared yacht party ticket is a seat on a boat that also carries other paying guests, on a route and schedule the operator sets. Platforms such as GetYourGuide, Klook and Platinumlist list Dubai Marina packages from around $61 per person, usually bundling a few hours plus drinks and food into that price.
You do not choose who else is aboard, how long the boat stays out beyond the booked package, or much of what happens once you are on it. For one person, a couple or a small group happy to share the deck with strangers, that trade-off is reasonable — the per-person price is lower than chartering a whole boat, and there is no group to coordinate.
We do not run this kind of ticket. If a shared boat with other guests is what you want, book directly with one of the platforms above — they handle the schedule and the seat, not us.
What Does a Private Yacht Rental Buy Instead?
A private yacht rental is a booking of the entire boat for your group only, for the boat's minimum of 4, 8 or 10 hours, with nobody outside your party aboard. The price applies to the boat, not to each guest, and you set the guest list, the music and the plan within your booked window.

Every private booking includes a captain and crew, soft drinks, water and ice. Five of our boats add water toys to that: a jet ski, a Seabob, a paddleboard and a tender. Food, alcohol and decoration are arranged separately, on top of the base booking, which makes it closer to renting a venue than buying a seat.
Price Per Person or Price Per Boat: What's the Difference?
A shared ticket is priced per person, so the total rises with every guest you add. A private rental is priced per boat and per hour, so the cost stays fixed for the group regardless of headcount, up to the guest limit of the boat — the more people you bring, the lower it works out per head.
Capacity is where a private party on our fleet has a firm ceiling. Every boat takes 12 guests, except the Sunseeker 64 at Dubai Marina, which takes up to 25. That covers a birthday, a hen party or a team outing; for a company party bigger than 25 we look for a partner boat on request rather than promise a number we can't back with our own fleet.
Do the math before you book, because it rarely favours the private boat on price alone. The Sunseeker 64, the one boat that takes 25, is AED 1,610 an hour with an 8-hour minimum: AED 12,880 for the whole group. Split 25 ways, that is still well above a $61 ticket. A private boat wins on privacy, the guest list and a full day on the water, not on cost per head.
Who Does a Shared Ticket Suit?
A solo traveler, a couple or a small group who want a few hours on the water without planning anything, and who do not mind sharing the deck with other paying guests.
It also works for a first visit to Dubai, when the goal is simply to see the Marina skyline once rather than build an occasion around the trip. You show up at the departure time, and the operator runs the rest.
Who Needs a Private Charter Instead?
Any group built around an occasion — a birthday, a bachelorette or bachelor trip, an anniversary, a corporate outing — where privacy, your own guest list and control over timing matter more than the lowest price per head.

Does December Change Anything for a Yacht Party?
Yes. December, especially the run-up to New Year's Eve, sits at the peak of Dubai's charter season, and boats book out further ahead than in a typical month. That applies to both formats, a shared ticket and a private rental, for the same reason: everyone chasing the same handful of dates books early.

We haven't measured exactly how many weeks out boats fill for that date specifically, so we won't put a number on it, only that asking earlier beats asking once December arrives.
